Portfolio Update - Jack and Clyde

Decided to finally post the characters for my portfolio animation. They've been finished for quite some time now and are fully rigged, including facial animation (except clyde, the shorter one, still making blendshapes). Also included a shot of the room work in progress.

Im now in the process of creating a more suitable environment for them to live in, as the other pool hall simply didnt fit the style i was going for.

Hopefully ill get to do some test animation within the next month, but first, the animatic and finishing the environment!

Latest Assignment

My latest project for school. I had originally intended to use it as the setting for my upcoming portfolio animation, but the simplistic style of my characters clashes too much with this setting. Im currently doing a much more cartoony and simpler version of a pool hall for them.
Meanwhile, the assignment was to create an interior with a good sense of atmosphere and mood, created by solid lighting, props and textures. Im happy with it, but as always, if there were only more time for the ideas that didnt make it in...
